The tablet sports a 7.9-inch QXGA fully laminated IPS display at a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels with 178-degree wide viewing angle.

Platform

It is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 Mobile Platform (Quad 1.8GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.2GHz A53 CPUs) with Adreno 510 GPU and runs on ZEN UI 3.5 which is based on Android 7.1 (Nougat) out of the box.

Storage

The device comes with 3 GB RAM – 32 GB ROM and 4 GB RAM – 64 GB ROM variants. The internal memory can be expanded using the microSD card.

Camera

It has 13-megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED Flash, 5P Lens, f/2.0 aperture and 5-megapixel front facing pixelmaster camera.

Connectivity and Sensors

The tablet is equipped with fingerprint sensor on board to provide an extra layer of security besides supporting 4G LTE (Optional), WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX, USB Type-C and GPS & GLONASS connectivity features.

Battery and Additional features

It packs 4680 mAh battery and boasts 2 x five magnet speakers, DTS Audio, Sonic Master technology, 7.1-channel surround sound, 24 bit/ 192 kHz Hi-Res Audio additional features.

Pricing and Availability

Asus Zenpad 3S will be available in Royal blue, Pearl white and Quartz gray colors. There is no word yet on whether how much the tablet would cost and when it will be available. Stay tuned with us for more such details.
