Apple introduces watchOS4 with Activity coaching, Siri-powered watch face and much more

Apple introduced the upcoming version of the company’s smartwatch software, Apple watchOS4 at the WWDC 2017 conference. It is equipped with features like Music, Activity, updates to Workouts and Siri-powered watch face. The update also adds a better Workout app and showcases GymKit platform which will let customers connect the workouts with cardio tools.

The watch face which is powered by Siri will also provide information on watch display like headlines from the Apple News, Reminders and Wallet, Maps, Calendar, Breathe, Alarms, Activity and much more. It will also offer tailor encouragement and intelligent coaching to assist to close the Activity Rings more easily. The customers will also get a personalized notification when they are only a few steps away from getting an achievement.

The watchOS4 also adds upgraded Music app which will sync your new music mix, favorites mix and much more automatically. The users will also be able to pair their gadgets to other equipment such as indoor bikes, ellipticals or treadmills.

The watchOS4 will be available later in this year as a free update to Apple Watches that are paired with iPhone 5S as well as iOS 11. It is available immediately via iOS Developer Program members at developer.apple.com.
