Xiaomi launched the company’s first budget router, Xiaomi Mi Router 3C in India. It was initially unveiled a few months back in China. Mi Router 3C has 802.11 b/g/n single-band router with 4 copper antennas. While two antennas among the total 4 antennas are supposed to transmit, the other two are used for receiving. At the end of the day, the router supports up to 300 MBPS transmission speed.

Mi Router 3C also allows guest sharing using which you will not have to share the password with anyone. It also provides WiFi Boost which will set the Wi-Fi channels automatically to optimize connections. Below are the highlights of Xiaomi Mi Router 3C.

  1. Xiaomi Mi Router 3C is powered by MediaTek MT7628N processor and 64MB DDR2 RAM with 16 MB ROM. It supports 300Mbps 802.11 a/b/n Wi-Fi 2.4GHz 2X2 with 4 copper + PCB external omni directional antennas.
  2. You can connect up to 64 devices within the 80 meter range of WiFi router. The router runs on MiWiFi OS which is based on OpenWRT and provides you parental controls, real time monitoring and much more using the Mi WiFi app on iOS and Android.
  3. There are 1x Power port, 1x RJ45 WAN port, 10/100Mbps (Auto MDI/MDIX). 10/100Mbps (Auto MDI/MDIX) and 2x LAN ports. There is also an LED indicator that glows in Yellow, Blue and Red colors.

Price and Availability

  • Xiaomi Mi Router 3C will be available in White color at a price of Rs 1,199 via mi.com from May 23, 12:00 PM. It will also be available via Amazon.in and Flipkart from June 8.
