Meizu announced the company’s latest budget smartphone, Meizu M5c for global markets. Let us have a brief look at its specifications.

Meizu M5c Specifications

Display

The smartphone sports a 5-inch HD display at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with 1000:1 contrast ratio and 400 nits brightness.

Platform

It is powered by 1.3GHz Quad-Core MediaTek processor with Mali T720 GPU and runs on Flyme OS 6 which is based on Android 7.0 (Nougat) out of the box.

Storage

The device comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory that can be expanded to 128 GB using microSD card.

Camera

It has 8-megapixel primary camera with LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and 5-megapixel front camera.

Connectivity and Sensors

The mobile is equipped with a fingerprint sensor on board to provide an extra layer of security besides supporting 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS / GLONASS and Hybrid Dual SIM (nano+nano/microSD) connectivity features.

Battery and other details

The smartphone comes with 3000 mAh battery and weighs 135 grams with 8.3 mm thickness.

Price and Availability

Meizu M5c will be available in Red, Blue, Pink, Gold and Black colors in Ukraine, Spain, Russia, New Zealand, Myanmar, Italy, Israel, India, Hong Kong, France, Mainland China, Cambodia, Brunei, Brazil, Belgium and Austria. There is no word yet on how much the device costs and when it will be available.
