Sharp introduced the company’s latest flagship smartphone, Sharp AQUOS R in Japan. The mobile comes with an AI app, ‘Emopar’ which will learn your habits and actions to provide you the suggestions accordingly. It is also equipped with arotating Robocle charging dock. According to the company, the R in AQUOS R stands for Robotics, Reliability, Response and Reality.

The smartphone sports a 5.3-inch Quad HD IGZO LCD 2.5D curved glass display at a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

It is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with Adreno 540 GPU and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) out of the box.

Storage

The mobile comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory.

It has 22.6-megapixel primary camera with 90-degree wide-angle lens, OIS, f/1.9 aperture, OIS, LED Flash and 16.3-megapixel front camera.

Connectivity

The mobile is equipped with fingerprint sensor on board to provide an extra layer of security besides supporting 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), MIMO, Bluetooth v 5.0, GPS with GLONASS, USB Type-C and NFC connectivity features.

AQUOS R packs a 3160 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

Price and Availability

Sharp AQUOS R will be available in White and Black colors from the summer of 2017. There is no word on yet on whether how much device would cost.
