Google joined hands with the imaging company from China, Yi Technology to announce a Virtual Reality camera, Yi Halo. It is the second camera from the search engine giant that is based on Jump for professional productions.
The camera packs 17 4K action cameras out of which one is an optimally-placed up camera. The gadget can capture 6K content by 6K at 60 FPS, 8K by 8K stereoscopic 360-degree VR footage at 30 frames per second (FPS). The jump team joined hands with top camera manufacturers to develop high-quality and build professional cameras.
Using an Android app which has features that can help to view the content in real time, the users can also use it as a remote control to regulate the device. The stats such as battery life and the status of each camera can also be seen.
Yi Halo will go on sale in this summer at $16,999.
