Google Duo now supports audio calling, update rolling out globally

google duo audio calling

Last year in August, Google had launched its video calling app, Google Duo. The app allowed the users to make only video calls. The company started adding the audio calling support in last month to facilitate the calling even in slower network connections. Now, this feature is being rolled out to all the users globally.

The company had already said that the users across the globe will receive the feature over the next few days. Therefore, as promised, the company has now made the feature available for all the users from today. It was announced by Justin Uberti, Google’s technical head for Duo. This feature will be more useful for those users who are going to travel in remote areas where the network connectivity is very low.

If you have not got the feature yet, please be patient or head to PlayStore to see if you have update the Google Duo app manually. However, let us know your reviews in the comments section below. We’d love to hear about it from you. For your convenience, we have added the link to download the app with the latest update below.
