Sony Xperia XZ with 5.5-inch display, Nougat, 4 GB RAM, Snapdragon 835 announced

The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch 4K HDR TRILUMINOS Display at a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Platform

It is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) out of the box.

Storage

The mobile comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory which can be expanded using microSD card.

Camera

It features 19-megapixel primary camera with Exmos RS sensor, 1/2.3″ sensor, f/2.0 lens, Predictive capture, 5-axis stabilization, 4K video recording, 960fps slow-motion video and 13-megapixel selfie camera with 1/3″ Exmor RS sensor, 22mm wide-angle f/2.0 lens, 1080p video recording.

Connectivity and Sensors

The device is equipped with fingerprint sensor on board and supports USB Type-C, NFC, GPS/GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) MIMO and 4G LTE.

Battery and Other details

The mobile packs a 3230 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology and weighs 195 grams with 156 x 77 x 7.9 mm size measurements.

Availability

Sony Xperia XZ Premium will be available in DeepaSea Black and Luminous Chrome colors from spring 2017. There is no news yet on whether how much the device is going to cost.
