Nokia announced the company’s latest Android smartphone, Nokia 5. Let us have a look at the specifications of the device in detail.

Nokia 5 Specifications

Display

The smartphone sports a 5.2-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen at a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels with 282 ppi pixel density and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

Platform

It is powered by Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 Octa-core processor which is clocked at 1.4 Ghz with Adreno 505 GPU and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) out of the box.

Storage

The device comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 256 GB using microSD card.

Camera

The gadget has 13-megapixel primary camera with dual-LED Flash, phase detection autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12 um pixel size.

Connectivity and Sensors

The device is equipped with fingerprint, compass, proximity, gyro and accelerometer sensors besides supporting A-GPS, USB OTG, microUSB v2.0, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1 and 4G LTE connectivity features. Nokia 5 will be available with either single SIM or dual SIM.

Battery and other details

The mobile packs a 3000 mAh battery which cannot be removed and has 149.7×72.5×8 mm size measurements.

Availability

Nokia 5 will be available in Copper, Matte Black, Silver and Tempered Blue colors at a price of 189 Euros (Rs 13,300) in the second quarter of this year.
