Gionee A1 in India announced with 5.5-inch display, 4010 mAh battery, fingerprint sensor

Gionee introduced the company’s latest smartphone, Gionee A1 in India. This mobile was introduced back in MWC 2017 along with Gionee A1 Plus. However let us have a brief look at the specifications of the device.

Gionee A1 Specifications

Display

The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full HD IPS in-cell 2.5D curved glass display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Platform

It is powered by 2GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with Mali T860 GPU and runs on Amigo OS which is based on Android 7.0 (Nougat) out of the box.

Storage

The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB using microSD card.

Camera

The mobile has 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 1/3.0+” sensor, 5P lens, Sony IMX258 sensor and 16-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1/3.06″ sensor, 5P lens, selfie flash.

Connectivity and Sensors

The device is equipped with fingerprint sensor and supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n(2.4GHz+5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG and Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) connectivity features.

Battery and other details

The smartphone packs a massive 4010 mAh battery with fast charging technology and weighs 182 grams with 154.5 x 76.5 x 8.5mm size measurements.

Price and Availability

Gionee A1 will be available in Gold, Black and Gray colors for pre-orders from March 31 in India. There is no word yet on whether how much the device would cost. We expect the price to be revealed over the next few days. However, stay tuned with us for more updates.
