Garmin launched the company’s SmartWatch, Garmin Forerunner 35 in India. The gadget which was initially announced back in August this year is a GPS-enabled running watch with built-in Elevate wrist-based heart rate sensor which will monitor the heart rate round the clock. It can also be used to count steps, calories and track distance, pace. It also contains smartwatch functionality that includes the options to control the music and access notifications right from the device.

Using the Garmin Elevate wrist heart rate technology, it will monitor your heart rate throughout the day and night. It will determine the speed of your run and track the places you run using the built-in GPS technology. The device sports connectivity features such as live tracking and music controls, automatic uploads to Garmin Connect and Smart Notifications.
As the device works all day and all night, you can count the calories, steps and intensity minutes. It will also upload your data to the Garmin Connect, a free online fitness community where you can get insights, join challenges and share your progress after you achieve the goals.
The device sports a battery life of up to 9 days and 13 hours in training mode. It is priced at Rs 15,990 and can be purchased exclusively via Paytm.
