Microsoft’s Surface Studio all-in-one desktop announced

As expected, Microsoft released the company’s latest Surface Studio at an event in New York. The pre-order of the device starts today in US at $2999 (Rs 200543 approximately).

That’s certainly a lot of money. But what do you get for all this money? You’d get an all-in-one desktop that sports a 28-inch PixelSense display with 192 pixels per inch in terms of sharpness. It means that there are a whopping 13.5 million pixels on the display which is 63% more than a 4K TV.

The device is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor with GTX 980M mobile GPU to deliver a great user experience.

Microsoft said that the 28-inch LCD is the thinnest monitor that has ever been made with a thickness of 12.5mm. Using the ‘Truecolor’ system, it also shows extraordinary color accuracy chops that renders the colors in the best way possible.

The machine is equipped with “Zero Gravity hinge” that will enable you to easily change the screen from desktop mode to studio mode. In the latter mode, the Surface Studio is positioned at a 20-degree angle. There is no doubt that this is built specially for serious creatives and professionals. The company says that it will transform the way you create and think about creating. It is equipped with an in-built camera which also supports Windows Hello, Surface Pen and Surface Dial.
