Honor 8 with 5.2-inch display, Marshmallow, 4 GB RAM, 12 MP CAM launched in India

As promised, Huawei’s Honor brand launched the company’s Android Smartphone, Honor 8 at an event in India.

Honor 8 Specifications

The Smartphone sports a 5.2-inch full HD 2.5D curved glass display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with 96 % NTSC color gamut. It is powered by Octa-Core Kirin 950 (2.3GHz 4 x A72 + 1.8GHz 4 x A53) 16nm processor with Mali T880-MP4 GPU and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with EMUI 4.1 on top of it. The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 128 GB using microSD.

It has a 12 MP dual primary camera with 1.4um pixel size, 6P Lens, f/2.2 aperture, Laser AF, dual-tone LED Flash and an 8 MP Selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture. The device is equipped with Infrared Sensor and fingerprint sensor to deliver a great user experience. It supports USB Type-C, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fiac (2.4GHz and 5GHz) and 4G. The Smartphone relies on a 3000mAh (typical) / 2900mAh (minimum) battery and weighs 153 grams.

Honor 8 will be available in Sapphire Blue, Pearl White and Sunrise Gold colors at a price of Rs 29999 in India from Honor Store Online, Flipkart and Amazon.in in addition to the offline stores.
