Honor 6X with stunning specifications announced

The Honor brand of Huawei launched Honor 6X, the company’s latest Smartphone at an event in China.

The Smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full HD 2.5D curved glass IPS display at a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is powered by Octa-core Kirin 655 ( 4 x 2.1GHz + 4 x 1.7GHz) 16nm processor with Mali T830-MP2 and runs on EMUI 4.1 which is based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). The gadget comes with 3GB / 4GB LPDDR3 RAM with 32GB (eMMC 5.1) storage / 4GB RAM with 64GB (eMMC 5.1) storage, in which the internal memory is expandable up to 128 GB using microSD.

It has a 12 MP primary camera with PDAF, 1.25um pixel size, 6p Lens, LED Flash and an 8 MP Selfie camera. The device is equipped with fingerprint sensor on board to provide an extra layer of security. It supports GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G VoLTE. The Smartphone relies on a 3340mAh (typical) / 3270mAh (minium) battery with support for fast charging.

Honor 6X will be available in Rose Gold, Blue, Silver and Gold colors at 999 yuan (US$ 148 / Rs. 9885 approximately) for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version, 1299 yuan (US$ 192 / Rs. 12850 approximately) for the 4GB RAM with 32GB storage version and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs 1599 yuan (US$ 237 / Rs. 15825 approximately). Starting today, the device will be available for order and will go on sale from October 25.
