Initially, the company had planned the Note7 devices to go on sale from September 2nd in India. But due to the sudden shortage and fire accidents by the Smartphone, Samsung never got a chance to sell the Note7 in India. Now, they have officially cancelled the Smartphone around the globe.

So, in order to make the customers who had pre-ordered Note 7 Smartphone happy, the company is now offering new Gear VR, an Oculus Gear VR voucher (apparently worth 3,300 INR or $50 USD), a Samsung Level U wireless headset, and a one-time screen replacement (redeemable within the first year) free of charge. There is one condition though. You will have to buy Samsung Galaxy S7 or Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

If you don’t want to go ahead and buy another Samsung device, the gates are open for that as well. You will be refunded. However, let us know whether you will go ahead and purchase the Samsung Galaxy S7 or Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. We’d love to hear about it in the comments section below.
