Airtel launches V-Fiber in Chennai with speed up to 100 MBPS

Airtel launched V-Fiber in Chennai today which will offer speed up to 100 MBPS. This new service depends on Vectorization and it is the No.1 Fixed broadband technology in Europe. Airtel is the first telecom Operator to use this technology in India.

The company has also said that it has upgraded local exchanges with equipment to manage fiber speeds. There are also reports that there won’t be any need for drilling or wiring in the premises of the customer. All the user will require is a new modem to experience ‘V-Fiber’.

Airtel is also providing ‘V-Fiber’ to all the current users at no extra monthly cost. Airtel said, “If customer is not happy with the service within one month, modem charges and the amount will be adjusted in the next billing cycle.” The new customers will get unlimited trial offer for the first three months. The company has also announced unlimited free voice calling for all broadband users at no extra cost.
