If you are figuring on how to do it, you are at the right place right now, because, here in this post we are going to guide you on how to use Google Allo to send SMS?

How to use Google Allo to send SMS?

To use Google Allo as an SMS messenger, one of the users must not have the app installed in their phone. I know you are confused now. Let me explain you clearly. After installing the app, Google Allo will list all the contacts in the contacts screen and that includes those who haven’t installed the app. If you would try sending a message to one of those contacts, the app will alert that your message will be sent via SMS.

The recipient would receive a message from a 5-digit number. The message also includes information that you (name and phone number) are trying to initiate a chat with the recipient via Google Allo. Both your friend and you can continue to chat even though your friend doesn’t want to download the Google Allo messenger. However, you will not be able to send Stickers or pictures via SMS and only the text will be sent.

What do you think of Google Allo? Do you think it will surpass the leading popular messaging services such as WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger? Let us know your views in the comments section below. We’d love to hear from you.
