Microsoft to stop the lineup of Lumia devices by the end of 2016

This news might not surprise you. Microsoft is in plans to stop the lineup of Lumia devices by the end of this year.

The company has been trying all its levels best to sell the existing Lumia Smartphones. The price of the devices has also been lowered down like there is no tomorrow. Still, the company is facing it very difficult to sell them. It is because, people are hesitating to buy a phone with an Operating System which needs a lot of updates in terms of features.

The buzz in the techy world is that the manufacturing of Lumia devices will be stopped by December this year. But the company will continue sell all its Smartphones as long as the stock lasts. Microsoft is instead expected to focus much on its new Surface Phone. However, there is no much detail on whether when it will be released.
