Instant Video feature in Facebook Messenger

Facebook is rolling out a new Instant Video feature in Facebook Messenger app. It is a combination of both the Chatting as well as video sharing.

How to use Instant Video feature in Facebook Messenger?

To use the instant video feature in the Facebook Messenger, you must have the latest version of the app installed either in your Android or iOS Smartphones and then tap on the video icon. In general, when you tap on the video icon, the app starts the video call in the full screen mode and does not allow you to chat during the video call.

But, now if you have the latest version of the Facebook Messenger installed in your Smartphone, you will notice the video call in a new pop-up window that floats in the screen by allowing you to chat alongside. The audio is disabled by default in this feature, but you can always enable it.

Sometimes you want to ask a friend’s opinion on a pair of shoes you want to buy, weigh in on what ice cream flavor they should bring home, or just want to see your BFF’s reaction to your witty message when you’re in a place where you can’t actually talk live.

When you initiate the Instant Video feature with your friend, your friend can either join the video stream or choose to just watch you. Below is the links to download the latest version of Facebook Messenger from PlayStore and iOS AppStore for your convenience.
