Apple Paper Bag: A new innovation patented by Apple

Apple Paper Bag

Apple is in plans to patent a paper bag. At least that’s what the patent application US 20160264304 says. According to the patent application, the Apple Paper Bag is going to be a bag container formed of white solid bleached sulfate paper with at least 60% post-consumer content.

The application says:

“A bag, such as a retail shopping bag … may be formed entirely of paper, with the potential exception of adhesives for fixing together portions of the bag. This can help to reduce any environmental impact from production, use, and disposal of the bag. The bag may be formed of a container and a handle.”

Although the Apple Bag is made of paper, 60% of it is recycled paper. This makes the upcoming Apple product as green as possible. It is summarized in the patent as “A paper bag is disclosed. The paper bag may include a bag container formed of white solid bleached sulfate paper with at least 60% post-consumer content.”
