Android One devices started getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update

If you are an Android One user, there’s good news for you. Google is rolling out Android 7.0 (Nougat) for the Android One devices. This tells us that Google is keeping its word on making all its updates available to the Android One devices very soon. Because, the company rolled out Android N for the Nexus devices two weeks ago.

The latest Android version will be rolled out to the users through OTA update. A Cherry Mobile G1 user M is one of the firsts few to receive the update. The other Android One devices will receive the upgrade very soon.

Android Nougat has added several new functions such as Direct Boot, Background Optimizations, Data Saver, Notifications Enhancements, Multi-Window Support and partial support for more than 100 new languages and 25 locales and more.

Currently, we have Android devices from Smartphone makers such as Lava, Intex, Karbonn, Micromax and many more in the market. However, there is no much information on whether which Android One devices will receive the update first.
