If you want to view your favorite shows in Netflix at 1080p resolution, you will have to use the Microsoft Edge Browser in Windows 10. Microsoft has claimed that its Microsoft Edge to be the only browser to support 1080p videos in Netflix.

Other browsers such as Google Chrome and Firefox also supports HD videos in the site. But according to a test, it was found that the browsers other than Microsoft Edge supported the videos only till 720p resolution.

Microsoft has seriously done its homework in upgrading the performance in the Edge browser. In the beginning when the browser was launched in Windows 10, many performance lagging issues were found in the browser when compared to other browsers such as Chrome. Since then, the company has put in a lot of effort to develop the browser by providing a few plugins for public use.

Last month, the Edge browser defeated the other browsers and it was found to last longer than browsers such as Google’s prestigious Chrome browser.
