Xiaomi announced the company’s latest flagship Smartphone, Xiaomi Redmi 3S in China.
Xiaomi Redmi 3S Specifications
Xiaomi Redmi 3S sports a 5-inch HD display at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit processor with Adreno 505 GPU and runs on MIUI 7 that is based on Android to deliver a great user experience. It comes in variants of 2 GB RAM and 3 GB RAM. While the former is equipped with 16 GB internal storage, the latter is said to have around 32 GB internal storage. Both the variants can be expanded to 128 GB using microSD.
Redmi 3S sports a 13 MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED Flash, PDAF and can be used to record videos at 1080p resolution besides the 5 MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. The device supports Hybrid Dual SIM (micro + nano/microSD), GPS + GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G LTE. The device features a massive 4000 mAh battery and weighs 144 grams.
Xiaomi Redmi 3S is priced at 699 Yuan (Rs 7120 / $106 approx) for the 2 GB RAM variant and 899 Yuan (Rs 9165 / $136) and will be available in Gold, Silver and Dark Grey colors. The sale of both the variants will start in mi.com from June 16. There is no any word yet on whether when the device will be available globally.
