Twitter introduces new “Connect” tab in the latest update for iOS and Android

twitter threads

Twitter is serious about you making new friends on internet. The company has now added a new “Connect” tab on iOS and Android where you will be able to find the accounts of the people that Twitter thinks you will enjoy.

The micro blogging site already has a “who to follow” feature that provides you a list of suggestions. However, the main aim behind adding the “Connect” tab is to deliver a platform where searching and finding new fascinating accounts would be very easy.

Twitter uses data such as the current trends, popular accounts in your local area, tweets you like, the people you follow currently to offer you the suggestions. At the same time, you will anyways be notified when any of your friends who are in your address book creates an account for the first time.

The update is currently being rolled out to the Android and iOS devices currently. If you haven’t got the update yet, please be patient. It will come knocking the door of your Smartphone very soon.

Let us know your views on the latest Connect tab in the comment section below. We would love to hear from you.
