The latest update in Telegram will allow you to edit your text messages after sending them. You will be able to edit the messages in the one-on-one and group conversations after you update the Telegram to the latest version number 3.9.
To edit a message that you have already sent, you will have to tap and hold on the message and then choose ‘Edit’. On the other hand, the desktop users will have to choose the up arrow button to edit the last message. After the message has been altered, it will be labelled with ‘Edited’.
The latest update also allows you to mention any member in a group even if they don’t have any username using the ‘@’ symbol. Besides that, you will also be able to search your recent messages through a new People list in the search. Eventually the iOS users can now switch back to the exact recent location of a chat as the app can now remember the scroll position.
