Honor 5C with 5.2-inch display, 2 GB RAM, fingerprint sensor announced

Huawei announced the company’s latest Smartphone, Honor 5C which is the successor of Honor 4C that was released last year.  

Honor 5C Specifications

Honor 5C sports a 5.2-inch full HD IPS display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a 2 GB RAM and Octa-Core Kirin 650 (Cortex A53 – 4× 2 GHz + 4×1.7 GHz) processor with Mali T830 GPU for a great user experience and runs on EMUI 4.1 that is based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It comes with an internal storage of up to 16 GB and is expandable up to 128 GB using microSD.

Honor 5C has a 13 MP primary camera with 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture, LED Flash and 8 MP Selfie camera with 4P lens, f/2.0 aperture. The Smartphone supports Dual SIM (nano+nano/microSD), GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G LTE with VoLTE. The device also features a 2900 mAh battery, weighs 156 grams and is also equipped with Fingerprint sensor, SWS sound, Smart PA Amplifier, Box Speakers and 3.5 mm audio jack.

Honor 5C is priced at 899 yuan and 999 yuan for the standard and dual 4G variant respectively. The device is available for order currently in China. There is no word yet on whether when this device will go global, but its sale will begin on May 5.
