Have you given a thought about Facebook Dislike button

Facebook Dislike Button

People around the world have been yearning for additional buttons on Facebook. And, last week Facebook rolled out new reactions  to all users globally. Now you can express your views in 5 different ways besides the traditional “Like” feature. But, there is only one question everybody is asking Why Facebook does not have a Facebook Dislike button?

Don’t Miss: Facebook Profile Picture Guard, How to use it ?

So, are we ever going to get a Dislike button? The answer to this question would be probably not because Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has asserted that even though users are asking for it this is not the feature they actually want. On his Facebook page on the day of the rollout, he said: “Our community has been asking for a Facebook dislike button for years, but not because people want to tell friends they don’t like their posts. People wanted to express empathy and make it comfortable to share a wider range of emotions. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about the right way to do this with our team. One of my goals was to make it as simple as pressing and holding the Like button.”

Mark has publicized in the past that he had ruled out the much-requested feature because he was concerned it would cause disapproval, saying: “Some people have asked for a ‘dislike’ button because they want to be able to say ‘That thing isn’t good’. And that’s not something that we think is good for the world. So we’re not going to build that.”

This means, in addition to the routine “Like” button, you can express your views in Angry, sad, Wow, Haha and even Love to express your state of mind. But, it looks like we’ll never get a Facebook dislike button.

You will need the latest version of Facebook to use this feature. If you haven’t got the update yet, please be patient as it may take time to get the update as it has been rolled out globally.
