Google started rolling out First update of Android N Developer preview

Google surprised everyone by releasing the developer preview images of Android N last week as the techie geeks and other experts were expecting the Android N to be released during the Google I/O event this year. Now, the company started rolling out the first beta of Android N to the devices which are eligible to get the update.

You can update your Smartphone to Android N in two ways. You can either download the factory image to flash it on your device or else wait for the OTA update in your phone. If you are not sure about installing the first beta of Android N through a factory image, we would suggest you to wait for the OTA update for the installation. All the instructions are clearly updated in the Android Developers site, you can also download the factory image for your device from the same.

The update is not available yet for Nexus 6 and is currently available only for the flagships such as Nexus 9 LTE (build NPC56X), Nexus 9 (build NPC56X), Nexus 6P (build NPC56W) and Nexus 5X (build NPC56W).

For those of you who have decided to update via OTA, you will have to enroll the Android Beta Program.
