ZTE announced Spro Plus portable projector that is powered by Android

ZTE announced Spro Plus, a portable Smart Projector,

the company’s latest gadget in the Spro Line. Besides the advanced visual design features that it offers, Spro Plus also provides touch-screen, voice conference and projection. Group video communications using applications such as Skype can be enabled using the external USB camera.

Spro Plus has an 8.4-inch, AMOLED touch-screen display at 2K resolution. The device is powered by 3GB RAM and Snapdragon 801 processor in addition to the 128 GB storage. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a massive battery of 12100mAh units. Visual features such as Horizontal and Vertical keystone correction and Auto-focus are offered by the projector. Instead of LED technology, the device uses a LASER technology to project the pictures of upto 300 inches at a brightness of 500 lumens.

The device sports JBL audio system that offers audio at a high quality through two 4w speakers. Using the HARMAN sub-miniature microphones, audio can be recorded at a crystal clear quality. The device comes in two variants, one with the WiFi alone and the other including both 4G LTE and WiFi.

Spro Plus will be available by Q2, 2016.
