This means, in addition to the routine “Like” button, you can express your views in Angry, sad, Wow, Haha and even Love to express your state of mind. For years, many users have been feeling awkward for being allowed only a “Like” button to express their views even for the sad posts.

To express your feelings now in a new way, you will have to long press the Like button and wait for the app to display a set of latest emoticons such as Love, haha, wow, sad and Angry. You can choose the desired emoticon by hovering over it.

You will need the latest version of Facebook to use this feature. If you haven’t got the update yet, please be patient as it may take time to get the update as it has been rolled out globally.

“We’ve been listening to people and know that there should be more ways to easily and quickly express how something you see in News Feed makes you feel. That’s why today we are launching Reactions, an extension of the Like button, to give you more ways to share your reaction to a post in a quick and easy way. We understand that this is a big change, and want to be thoughtful about rolling this out,” said Sammi Krug, Product Manager, Facebook
