Unlike other headsets, Samsung’s Gear VR headset doesn’t have a display. Instead, users will have to insert their Samsung smartphones into the slots provided in the VR Headsets to use them as displays. The device that weighs 318 grams provides a 96 degree field of view in the Headset. The VR device is packed with its own set of sensors like Proximity Sensor, accelerometer and Gyroscope.
