For those of you who live and breathe Google and Android, Google’s I/O event brings your visions into reality. The event is all about bringing goose-bumps to everyone from gamers and developers to Google fans around the globe.

The dates of Google I/O developer conference 2016 have been announced by Indian born Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai in his Google Plus and Twitter profiles. The event will be held on dates from May 18-20 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA.

Google held its first I/O developer conference at the same place. Since then, San Fransisco has been the host of the event. “To celebrate our 10th anniversary of developer gatherings, we’ll be hosting I/O in our backyard at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA from May 18th – 20th.” , wrote Sundar Pichai in his post in Google Plus. “We’ll have 3 full days together to dive deep into developer content, code labs, and more.

Google I/O is known for showcasing the latest and upcoming Google products rather than a developer only conference. It was during last year’s conference that Android Marshmallow made its first international appearance. We all know that Android One was the buzzword throughout the event during 2014. So, we can assume that Android N will make its first step at the conference this year. New features like Multi-window mode, dark theme to save the battery of Android N are expected to be shown at the event.

Observers are also speculating that Chrome OS will be the highlight of the show. In addition to that, Google is also likely to update us on Google Car.

As Project Tango stole the spotlight at CES 2016, much details about it are expected to be revealed at the event.
