Apple iMac Pro in India to be available from Rs 4,15,000

Yesterday, Apple announced the price of iMac Pro in India. The All-in-One desktop will be available soon at a starting price of Rs 4,15,000. Yes, you heard the price correctly and you don’t have to look at twice to confirm it. There is no wonder that the company is going to charge you this amount as the specifications packed in the device are outstanding and will probably blow any creative professional’s mind out of this world.

As of now, the specifications of the iMac Pro goes like, “8-core Intel Xeon processor, 32GB of DDR4 ECC RAM, Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics card, and a 1TB SSD”. For the moment, the orders of iMac Pro rose in the United States on Thursday. The base model of the device is currently priced at $4999 and the high-end model with 18-core CPU is priced at $13,199.

When in it comes to the Indian variant, the specifications include a 27-inch Retina 5K display at a resolution of 5120 x 2880 pixels with wide-colour gamut (P3) and 500 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by a combination of 19 MB cache, 8-core 3.2GHz Intel Xeon W processor that clocks up to 4.2GHz with Turbo Boost in addition to 32GB of 2666MHz DDR4 ECC RAM and Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics card with 8GB of HBM2 memory.

The base model of iMac Pro is going to be packed in India with 1TB SSD, 3.5 mm headphone jack, four microphones, SDXC card slot, four Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports, four USB Type-A (v3.0) ports, Ethernet port and a 1080p FaceTime HD camera. The other connectivity options of the device include Bluetooth v4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac features.

The iMac Pro will be available with a Space Gray Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse 2 besides a lightning USB cable. The company has recently introduced 360 degree video and HDR support in Final Cut Pro X which is going to work like a charm in the latest iMac Pro.
