Facebook News Feed is the one that you see on your page when you log in into your account. As, per Facebook blog post since more people are watching Live videos they are considering Facebook Live Videos feed as a new content type means different from normal videos. So, they are making a small update to News Feed and so Facebook Live videos feed will appear on top in your News Feed when those videos are actually live, compared to after they are no longer live.

Facebook live videos feed is made up of posts from your friends and Pages that you are connected to. These posts are your friends status, likes, videos, shared post, photos links and now Facebook live videos as well. Facebook recently rolled out Live Video feature on iOS in December and in February they announced that Facebook Live video is coming to Android Users as well in coming week.

According to Facebook blog post Users loves to interact with live videos and they spend three times longer watching videos when they are live  compared to videos that are no longer live. Currently people from more than 30 countries can share live video via iOS and this feature will be rolled out to other countries around the world in the coming weeks.

Facebook post says “Now that more and more people are watching Live videos, we are considering Live Videos as a new content type – different from normal videos – and learning how to rank them for people in News Feed. As a first step, we are making a small update to News Feed so that Facebook Live videos are more likely to appear higher in News Feed when those videos are actually live, compared to after they are no longer live,”.
